I've been doing 39 hour fasts for 15 straight weeks and it is life changing. ย Dinner Sun night and then nothing but coffee/water/mint tea Monday and then a breakfast late morning on Tues. ย Life changing. ย Weight loss, mental clarity, cleaning out toxins. ย I'd recommend giving it a try, especially for the older crew.ย

powerful stuff, true fast would remove the tea and coffee because your metabilism still kicks in with these items but droping weekly calories is huge if weight loss if your goal

I'm doing keto, but realize it isn't for everyone. However, a low carb diet isn't that tough to keep up once you get onto it so that's what I suggest. I LOVE bread, pasta, and sweets but greatly reducing my intake of them has helped my weight, mood, and energy level immensely.ย

I also do intermittent fasting from 8 pm to 12 pm, I love doing it and have seen great results energy/mood wise, I suggest looking into it to see if it's for you.

Some of my favourite simple healthy meals/snacks:

- Salad with grilled/baked chicken thighs
- A Cobb salad with bacon, sliced ham, sliced turkey, a hard boiled egg and veggies
- Smoothie with berries, spinach, non dairy milk, chia seeds (can also add a scoop of protein if that's your thing.)
- Avocado with hard boiled eggs and some nice cheese for a quick breakfast/lunch
- Lettuce wrapped burgers and sandwiches
- Sliced veggies such as peppers, tomatoes, and celery dipped in ranch/taziki/hummusย
- Eliminate pop, energy drinks, and sugary coffees in favour of sparkling water, the odd diet soda, and unsweetened coffee or tea. Drink more water than any other beverage.

Food as raw as possible before 3pm. Iโ€™m also marathon trainingย

1- Breakfast - overnight oats: equal amount of whole grain rolled oats and milk choice (I prefer unsweetened vanilla almond milk),nut of choice (sliced almonds or chopped walnuts, pecans etc), two fruits (berries, apple, pear, orange), coconut flakes, chia seeds, endless opps

2- salad with plant based proteinย

3 - snacks - raw fruit or nutsย

4- carb/plant protein rich dinner

5- lots of water/coffee

Go to Costco and get stocked up on Avocado's, Naan Dippers, Single Serve Hummus Cups, Mixed Nuts, Trail Mix, Sparkling Waters, and you're set. Other than that I have been thriving with rice cakes topped with nut butters topped with unsweetened apple sauce topped with mixed berries. Huge snacker.

I gained a lot of weight in the past 3 months or so, and I'm slowly losing them. I go with veggies like broccoli and Cauliflour and maybe carrots with onions. with grilled Chicken or lean meat. I avoid carbs as much as possible in case I want to have dessert. I follow the 1/3 plate rule which is 1/3 protein 1/3 veggies and 1/3 carbs (if I don't have dessert)ย

Adderall, water, eat only when I'm hungry - veggies and lean proteins (GO MAKE SOME SOY MARINATED EGGS YESTERDAY SUPER YUM AND YOU CAN DO BATCHES TO KEEP HANDY FOR QUICK NOMS)ย when I remember. Then a multivitamin.ย

I'll drink some tea for call blocks (don't drink coffee, so I'm quite sensitive to caffeine).ย

Great easy chicken breast recipe that doesn't taste like cardboard:

salt + pepper
garlic powder
bit of cumin
paprika
bit of turmeric
oregano
bit of chili powder
(can add pinch of cayenne for a kick)

I just kinda cut up the chicken breast, toss it in a ziplock, add some olive oil (coconut oil is also tasty), and sprinkle in the spices. Seal the bag, shake it up to really combine all the ingredients and let it sit (if you're cooking within one hour, don't refrigerate. Longer - can be days! - put in the fridge or freezer).

Toss it in a pan until cooked.ย

Want to make it fancy? deglaze with chicken stock or wine, add a bit of flour and whisk until reduced and thickened. put chicken back in. Nom Nom!

You can also use this spice rub on salmon, other white meats and whole cuts. Works great on a BBQ as well! I cannot BBQ because NYC apartment.ย

if you want 2 easy things to rip during work days i suggest Ka'chava in the AM (superfood meal shake, I put ice/frozen bananas/oat milk in there and it tastes amazing and takes 5 minutes to make, pretty filling) and then around lunch just pre-make some chicken the night before and eat it with seeds of change quinoa/brown rice packs....also takes 5 minutes to make

Eat healthy Monday - Mid day Friday and then cheat days on Saturday and Sunday. I always try for the 85/15 diet. I like to always start my day with a good solid breakfast and make sure I eat enough at dinner to avoid snacking at night.ย
