Hear me out Sahil/corp- Commish Buying

@sahil @GeneralCorp hear me out.

Revenue generating idea for bravado where the warroom also generates $ for Bravado.

Commission buy. Now the platform exists to post good content, totally get it, and support it.

Here's my thought-

In the commission store to purchase an item with commission you need to use commission on at least 75% of the item, but if you are a little short in that last 25% instead of shit posting or voting on polls that you don't read (never done it, I swear) maybe you can buy commission points at like roughly $0.25 per point or $1 whatever you get it. You don't become a retail store but can generate some dough without leaving the core competency of warroom.

So bravado makes money, our savages have a chance to cop their desired item but still incentivised to earn commission by engagement. Win win.

Thoughts?

Solid idea, very much similar to using air miles and cash to pay for flights

Nothing necessarily, but thinking about Ipad for the daughter, couple hundo short, not that i cant make that up, but that thought hit my mind.

It really hit from chuck e cheese years ago, we had a ton of tickets and my kids are bougie cause we hit jackpots and buy top shelf, after spending a few k in tickets and both kids got a nice prize we still had some leftover, i was like well we are a little short of the other thing and Charles E. Cheese himself said, "dont worry you can just buy the tickets you dont have (they were like $0.01 per ticket)" I never knew that was a thing. Which has spun me to this new idea here years later. Full circle shit. Lol

I think it’s a great idea. Not sure if WR wants to pay stripe fees tho

Interesting, but did you get the idea after watching the Pepsi points - Harrier Jet documentary on Netflix? Just have to ask.
Honestly, the only things that have real value are around 5k points and up and those items are only going to long term users. The smaller commission items are practically marketing for Bravado. They both enable brand engagement, so I would argue that while it is revenue generating, it’s selling PS rather than the actually product and not worth it in the end.

Ah man that documentary made me feel bad for the guy. He should have just taken Pespi’s money when they offered him. I would have negotiated for a higher amount and left. You can never win against big companies like that

I don't see them going for this, but it's not a terrible idea. Love the Chuck E Cheese analogy lol

@Coffeesforclosers: Interesting idea. You think a lot of people here would want to buy commission points for money?

A lot, no. Some, maybe. I mean if you are 1000 commission points away on something and it costs you $100 cash to make up the difference for an Ipad, grill, whatever, would you do it?

I like it. Or provide different opportunities to crack off larger commission chunks.

I'm not sure if I would buy commish points. But it would give some flexibility, I guess.

I don't know - not really into microtransactions as it sounds like those pay-to-win games. Nothing beats the feeling of acquiring the desired item with a well-earned commiss. I feel like echoing Fox - I'm failing to see what item seems to be so hard to get that you need to pay to win it... IMO

Interesting concept but the only thing is that each point seems to be worth about .08 to .10 not sure how to turn that monetary since its prob just as easy to buy the item vs buy the point
