have you tried refreshing docusign every 3 seconds instead of every 7?

ive resent twice already but every 3 seconds sounds like a way more efficient way of getting this done

The not fun answer: you shouldn't be sending a contract unless they are ready to sign, and your contact is the person that will actually do the signing. If you are having trouble getting it signed then you've missed something along the way during the sales cycle.

Who did you send the contract to, and did you set a follow up meeting in the event that they were not able to get approval/sign?

This.

Yes, there are times where even a CEO will let it sit on their desk for a couple days. But, if you are speaking with the true DM/signer you should get a signed contract back within 24-48 hours. Usually after 24 hours, I'll ping asking if they have any final questions about legalese or terms, and that gets them to commit to signing by EOD.ย

Proposed solution:

1. Print out contract
2. Put contract in large envelope
3. Book travel to buyer's office location
4. Show up at buyer's office and inform reception you have a hand-deliver package
5. Meet F2F with the buyer if possible
6. Don't leave until you have timeline commitment to sign

lol, you just reminded me how much fun I had waiting at people's office, parking lots and whatnot to have them sign stuff. Ok, maybe not fun, but adrenaline!

This is why I always schedule a meeting to "go through the contract" and have them sign while on a call with me.

idk man I wouldnโ€™t spam them, but for the right size comish check, Iโ€™d spam them. How is your relationship with the prospect?ย

Probably catching up on what was missed. Id resend tomorrow and ask how was the time off and how you hate getting caught up after a vacay. Then ask if they have any questions and if they could sign if not

Send them a bottle of wine through sendoso (or wine.com gift card) as welcome back from vacation gift and in the note thank them for becoming a customerโ€ฆ it guilts them into signing and it makes them feel special. Obvs use company money for it or just ask for reimbursement

Just following up on that DocuSign. I understand legal can get bogged down. What can I get ready for your team when it's signed later today?
