Consumables and Activity (ping pong, foosball, video games) Perks are dead, and not perks if everyone does it. Employees want enrichment opportunities, for their employers to invest in them (educationally and monetarily). If your culture video shows the cereal bar and snack towers in your kitchen then you're missing the point. Also, do shit that helps your culture actually become hybrid or remote.

Only perk I liked was the beer/wine/cold brew on tap. The rest was trash.

I am really curious what they do now that most people are WFH

That is terrible. Unless they send me a new bottle every Friday, then I could get behind it.ย

I lean more towards companies that offer great health plans, EAP, paid parental leave, wellness benefits and L&D. Things that align more to things I actually care about now at my age (33).

Totally agree, these BENEFITS are so much more than PERKS. Perks are for children. We're aging, give us more money and health care. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Ever since we went remote everything went away in terms of lunches and snacks and alcohol. I don't mind but we never saw any of that money come back to us in terms of other perks - not even WFH office set up etc...so now it seems like businesses are just keeping that money. Anyone else feeling the same or have you received different perks?

If that would make the difference, we have other stuff to worry about. Did not know what Lacroix was.ย

I mean I'll take the free LaCroix but ... I can also afford the $4 a week to drink a couple/day while WFH and not commute

One of my first managers would tell me that titles are basically pointless and there to make people feel good. He also told me never to take work too seriously and keep in mind what is important in life, Hence jobs are justatitle
