How and how often do you follow up with “interested”prospects who have ghosted you?

For example this prospect used us at her old company. Wanted to sign with us because she was already familiar with the product. Just wanted pricing so she could put it in her budget, later told me it was approved and can buy in X months. Haven't heard anything since and now it's 3 months since she said she'd be able to sign. I left voicemails, emailed her back on the original chain and LinkedIn messaged. She has made multiple LinkedIn posts since but I know not everyone checks their messages.  

How do I follow up without feeling like a stalker?

Something I learned on here is sending an email with the subject "Have you given up?" or something along those lines. I forget the psychological reason behind it, but I have a 100% reply rate with it. Whether its a yes or no, every time they get back to me. 

In the body, you just list out what you basically explained to us and why they gave you the impression this was moving forward. Kind of a guilt trip I suppose.

I legit use a final attempt email that says "Did I lose you?" in the subject line with no body text

I saw that floated in here by someone I can't remember, but I've gotten a really solid open and reply rate out of it for sure.

It's usually a pretty clean response. I had a whale I sent that to and they reached back apologizing with a set FU week to reconnect for example

I will continue to reach out every few weeks until I get get an answer. 

I've had decent success with this:

"I've been instructed by our operations team to close your file. If security becomes a priority in the future, please let us know."
