How did we survive selling in the office before remote work?

IMO, working from home makes the perfect environment to do sales calls. No more background noise in the office, no need to look for an empty room. Just you and your prospect undisturbed.


I made me question how could I find peace to run sales calls in an office (more specifically in a coworking space).


How do you manage to create a good environment if not at home?

Personally, I get really fucked up on Kahlua shooters directly to the eyeball and take my rage out on whatever SDR happens to be under my desk that morning.

Dude i'm nervous for people to go back in the office full time exactly because of this

Can't find a room and you're trying to run a demo so you have to stay at your desk. all the while oscar is next to you yelling about how his wife's out of town and he's hitting it hard this weekend

it's so much easier not to worry about talking too loud or not loud enough when you're in a white-walled room at home slinging whatever it is you sell



Also alcohol is cool too

I enjoyed meeting new people, but as somebody who has worked from home since 2015, it really allows me to focus more on my work and less on the politics of the office.
