How do I propose new business offering to our upper management?

What is up everyone. I have a questions regarding marketing solution implementation. We currently do not offer a marketing solution to our clients. We provide SaaS but do not bring in leads for them.

Based on conversations with our current clients and potentials, there is a high need for us to add this marketing service to our platform. What do you say would be a good approach to present this to our upper management?

Do you have a product team? Start there.

Gather relevant anecdotal evidence that supports your idea and show them that there is demand. They'll be the ones to build the plans for it from build to implementation, so they'll be the best feedback loop that you can spend your time on.

Take it from someone who pitched their VP of Product on a solution that turned into one of the most valuable add-ons at their company...and go to credit. Make your efforts known to many and not just one.

@poweredbycaffeineย This is great advice. My problem is that there is only developers, project managers, accounting, sales, and CEO/COO. This is a very small company.

Ah, well then I'd find out a bit more about how products are prioritized and built. I'd venture a guess that engineering has a lot to do with it. Chat it up with them and see if they push you to the CEO/COO. If so, my advice still rings true.
