How do you all deal with bad sales managers?

Well, it’s like the old saying goes: “people don’t quit their jobs, they quit their boss.” Or something to that effect
What kind of bad? There are times that it’s worth documenting to HR. If you have a mentor in the company, could be good to talk with them as well. But, unless there are lots of complaints or the RM doesn’t hit their number, nothing will change.
Simple & great question. Depends on the manager - depends on your ability. But I think no matter what - you have to hit your # & build relationships around your team - beyond your manager. Bad managers eventually weed themselves out.
Document EVERYTHING. Keep a file.
