How do you ask prospects (politely) what the hold up is in purchasing?

Savages,

I work in the software/services space and have some deals out there that have said our proposal looks great, but won't pull the trigger and move forward with actually purchasing. Wondering how people handle this and ask prospects what the delay is. Thanks.

I am straight in asking if there is something that's holding him back and if he could share I can check at my end if we have any room to accomodate those concerns/request etc.

I did get positive feedback many times.

You should know what they need to do on their end before sending a proposal imo. Outline all the steps you need with getting order form signed as the last step, do em all, let em know you did em all and then ask for signature.
