I did just find a previous post about this... Sorry, still getting the hang of the war room. But, thank you! I took a week off next month so hopefully that will help. In the meantime I guess I'll just keep pushing!

Sometimes, when i feel like shit and that life is going nowhere (during the current time can happen a lot even with a good situation) i need to complete a small ceremony of ego boost.ย

Sometime you just feel like you are down, because you only perceive the bad thing that affect you.ย

This ego boost consist of talking about you out loud just like you were the character of a book or a movie. Third person. It helps to take a step back.ย

"UnderQuota really feels like shit today, he's the kind of guy that wakes up in the morning with a dizzy feeling. However he knows what he has to do. He is a young Sales Rep keeping stuff together since the beginning. When he plans to do something, he gets into action no matter the difficulties..." you go on until you feel like a conqueror.ย

Do that every time you need till the day you do a Burnout and finally see a therapist.ย ย

I seem to get more out tiny breaks. - I reward myself breaks when I complete some tasks that I set for myself, close a deal or move it further in the cycle.ย
- I do NOT check my emails on weekends. No slack, no LinkedIn for the most part.ย
It's important to set yourself smaller goals through the day, week and month so you have something to look forward to and still feel a sense of accomplishment that will keep you going.ย

@Arjunย I definitely struggle with not checking Email/Slack/LinkedIn on weekends. Often find myself working for a few hours on either Saturday/Sunday so that is definitely not helping.

I see that, @tg1771ย
What helps me is the fact that I'm not going to do anything work related on weekends and I expect people to understand. Colleagues and prospects/customers alike.ย

I do tie up everything every Friday evening though. Anything that comes up after 6pm Friday, Imma get to on Monday.ย
