How do you deal with demo no-shows?

Something that happens to every single one of us... does anyone have a solid template that gets good Response/Open Rates?

I missed you at our scheduled meeting at XXX. Hope everything is ok?

We were super excited to talk about X and Y and prepared how we help you solve that. (points from discovery)

Call them. Also, I've said this in another thread but 9/10 times they didn't show up because you didn't give them a good reason to. You chased the "yes" and didn't add any value to their life.

Yes! Thi is valuable advice. One of my managers used to say, chase the no.

Call call call. Typically something came up and they can always be rescheduled.

I never try to shake them. They know what they did.

Do you think it's easier to accept the meeting and ghost it or try to explain why you aren't interested?  Accepting the meeting and ghosting probably gets you off the cadences quicker...

I always guilt them a little and say something “we worked hard preparing for our meeting so it’s a shame you couldn’t make it, when would be a better time?”

I don't think buyers give a shit how long we've prepared for a meeting that they accepted from a random call from our SDR who was sitting on his couch playing xbox.

It worked a shit ton for me. But maybe because I wasn’t an SDR sitting on my couch playing Xbox

I think you think it worked for you.  Whether it really did...?  No one knows.  Still, guilting a prospect by bringing up your effort is a shitty thing to do.  So is ghosting someone on a call.  But still...

My winback rate for no-shows was significantly higher than my coworkers. So did it really work for me? The short answer: Yes. The long answer: Yeeeeeees

Call them and email them, find out why they didn't show. if you never get them back on the phone, then they were just not intrested. however if they were they need to know you care about them

I just reach out and ask what time works better. If they no show twice I assume the need is not as great as I thought, they just accepted to get the SDR to stop bugging them, and/or they have given up on the project (depends on what stage the no shows happen).

I call and ask if they are joining the event. If they don't answer then I wait 5 minutes and then reschedule.

Just contact them and check why they were not there. Shit can always happen so I try to reschedule.

I always give my prospects 15 minutes until I will log out of the meeting.  At the 5 minute mark, I will send an email letting them know I'm logged in and if something came up to let me know to reschedule.  I also let them know I will be logged in for another 10 minutes in case they are running late.

If they don't reply or show I will give them a call at the 15 minute mark and follow up again the next day with a call or email depending how far they are in the process.

I call & email them if they no show. They normally respond to one & show the next time.
