How do you deal with "sharks" or AMs trying to "shark" you?

So based on the previous thread "stolen deals" please if you are a shark yourself or you had experience fending them off.

What did you do?

Well I had two cases that are not so great examples but I managed to put a line in the sand.

1st is I follow MAD protocol (yes from Cold war days) I start running interference indirectly not within official channels over WhatsApp and things like that and send the contract and everything offline. That way the other AM knows I mean business. Hell if I get account great if the his accounts get confused f*** em no one is a winner

2nd for them sly sharks who worked offline with backing is I keep talking to the prospect anyway the prospect usually pushes and will ask why so many people ask. I usually point out CRM puts you under my domain. If there is backing from management against me the customer just moves away and the management loses the deal.

I follow up with a note in the CRM that non subscribed CRM members interfered without my consent and informing me. This was much more effective because right now I've neutralized anyone who tried to interfere in my affairs infact I keep using the prospect name as an example of their F*** UP so governance (non-ally) is crippled as I subtly gave them the blame for this.

Sharks how far are you willing to go to stop them

Exceeded my number. Our team was at 180% of attainment and a new guy I vouched for brought in his first deal. Feeling good.
