Let go of the things that you cannot control and focus on the things that you can.
Things you can't control: -Your prospect's behavior and decision making -Marketing lead quality -Speed of your internet connection or software systems
Things you can control: -Your effort -Your attitude -How you treat your team -How you react to stressful situations

I use the gym as the pressure release valve but you need to detach from a lot of the stuff

Remember what is important… family friends being a good person. We’re in sales to deal with the bs and we’re going to fail more than we succeed. But the successes are so sweet

Nothing is personal. Focus on the process. Remember, In sales, in spite of smashing your quota by a huge margin, you always begin the next quarter at zero. Good or bad it only lasts for a month/quarter depending on your sales cycle.

Look at your last big commission check & make plans for what you'll do with the next one. Whether it's going to be invested (if so, calculate what that $$ amount will be in 20 years when it compounds), spent on a new tv, or a vacation, it always helps me to have that end goal in mind to remind me what I'm working toward.
I'm super financially driven but I also just closed on my first home today after a stressful few quarters in sales. That home purchase kept me going when I'd get frustrated. I'd take a lot of breaks to search Zillow for properties & Wayfair/Overstock for furniture for the new place to get excited again, then hit the phones. Rinse, repeat.

Don’t take the loses personal. Yes you can learn and grow from what happened but no need to stew and stew on a bad situation or outcome.
