Simple: decide that getting up earlier for the gym is a better tradeoff than being sick and fat.

Go to sleep earlier, get up earlier, enjoy your life more.

Block off time in your calendar. If you aren't sure what works for you, experiment - try early mornings, lunch hour, evening and see what you can fit it

Diet is more important, especially if you don't have enough time to workout regularly. But also workout before anything else otherwise no way I'm doing it after work.ย

I use the gym as a place to vent any frustrations I have with the job. Much easier to work out when I need to relieve stress๐Ÿค

Put workout time on your calendar so there's no way you can be interrupted by calls or meetings. Doesn't matter what time of day.

I posted this in a comment on a similar thread, but I *intentionally* put on workout gear that is a size too small, highlights all of my fat rolls and is extra unflattering.ย

Makes me get to the gym ASAP and push extra hard.

ALSO

my bff once told me this and it stuck :

"just get in the door. it doesn't matter how muchย  you do after that. could be 10 minutes, could be 2 hrs. just GET. IN. THE. DOOR."

Once you're there, you're gonna do more than sitting on your ass so its a guaranteed win!

Hit a program like insanity or T25, anything Hiit or Hirt really, that is everyday but quick hits so you can drop the lbs gained in quarantine. After you get through initial drop you can asses new goals and schedule and lift/cardio needed to maintain/gain

Lunch time if you can't handle the morning.

Especially when WFH - you've really got no excuse not to do something.ย

No gym, but waking up early and doing brisk walk for 2 km and 40 press ups and stretches

I don't. Once in a while I'll go for walks or a bike ride but that's about itย

The only way I've been able to get into a consistent gym schedule is by going at 6am. If I don't go early I won't go at all. And it's really hard to actually get to the gym that early, but once you start your workout and once you're done with it, you actually feel more energized and clear headed. At least that's how it is for me.

Go to bed early! Although I've recently gotten into the habit of going after work to decompress from the day, never used to be my norm.

Woke up early. Worked out. Showered and lost all motivation for the morning. Anyone have energy to share to get me moving today?
