How do you handle competition dumping prices when they have demos with your potential (or existing users)?

So, here's the thing.

We have a competitor that each time hops on a call with our existing user or our potential user dumps their price astronomically (up to 50-60%) and quite frankly we can not compete with that.

Each time that they hear someone mention the name of our SaaS they automatically dump their price.

Did anyone encounter these tactics before, how can we screw them other than lowering our price more than they did.

We charge the same $$ for the same type of product.

Sounds like you need to work on your differentiation otherwise you're gonna lose your shirt to this competitor.

I posted it in another thread, but you should start expecting this. You can handle the objection before it's even brought up.

"I know you mentioned you're looking at Company XYZ as well. They're known for lowering their prices because they lack features A B and C and it appears they feel the only way they can win is by being a bargain instead of being the best tool out there."
