Ensure you are doing the little things right so you are good to go with your health. 8 hours of sleep, drink water, physically exercise to set yourself up for success. Beyond that, I suggest ensuring you take vacation. Taking that time to recharge is like pulling back a slingshot for your performance.ย

If you take care of yourself, the rest will fall into place. Take breaks during the day, don't be afraid to decline invitations to events, and don't get consumed with your #'s. Separating office from home life is a big thing, but can be hard if you're a driven quota cruncher.ย

What type of pace are you referring to? If youโ€™re talking about pacing out your quota, there are better ways. And unless you have some backwards comp model where youโ€™re incentivized to sandbag, close the deals when they should close. Regarding pacing to get to quota, we should be talking about the forts and inputs that lead to closed deals โ€”> prospecting efforts, meetings, proposals, etc. Figure out how many of each of those youโ€™ve done in the quarters where youโ€™re hitting and figure out the math and replicate it.

I haven't necessarily done a bootcamp per se, but when I worked in the mortgage biz, we had a month long incubator for anyone going in to a sales role. They were taking all levels of experience at the time. I look back on it positively.
