Smoke weed, cook a steak, few rounds of call of duty, maybe a shot of Jack? Then bed at 9. Sunday thru Monday

Just wrapped Vikings and trying to get into The Last Kingdom but after vikings it fails miserably but committed.

If you like MMA you have to watch Kingdom, fantastic show and characters

Season 3 and 4 of Last Kingdom are legit. Once Netflix bought it and pumped money in, it got way better production.

Season 3 I think the actors/actresses all get comfortable in their roles. Def doesn't live up to Vikings, but still a good show. The writing gets a little better too.

Cooking! Great way to lose yourself in a project, by the time I'm done I've usually cleared my mind and I'm able to be present the rest of the night.

Man I tried this. But cooking makes me more stressful, maybe because I'm so bad at it lol

Haha yeah, if it adds to the stress then maybe not. I've grown up cooking and consider it a passion of mine, but I still total mess it up sometimes. Just did that on Monday with a pizza that rushed through and totally screwed up the dough, tried to turn it into a calzone or something, key word there is "tried" haha!

Huge fan of cooking Asian dishes, stir fry, fried rice, etc. They are pretty straight forward to make, all the ingredients are delicious so you can't "ruin" it, it keeps well for left overs, and makes a great "clean out the fridge" meal!

If you're looking for places to learn more about cooking, my favorite site is Serious Eats. They usually do a very good job telling you the why behind things in the recipe rather than just step a,b,c. This has helped me learn how to get more comfortable in the kitchen.

Old fashioned and a soak in the hot tub is the best.

But.

With kids running around, an extra 15-20 min of closing my eyes with some calming music in the quietest room in the house is usually what it ends up being.

If I'm in the city I walk the pup by the water, meet my wife at her clinic and walk home together to make dinner and catch an ep or two of something bingable. If I'm at my cottage I hop on my mountain bike and get a ride in or take a kayak paddle around the lake.

During the week it’s cooking and hanging with the kids. I was into meditation for a while but haven’t in quite some time.

God bless all you people with kids. Takes a special soul.

Meanwhile - open some wine, walk my dogs, cook a meal, and binge TV or do whatever else I feel like doing. No kids gang.
