How do you set SMART goals for yourself?

Hi there:

My boss has asked me to set up SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely) goals for myself. How do I do that on a professional and personal level? And importantly how do I track my progress?

Best,

Gaurav

S - Increasing revenue share with 1,2,3 clients by 20% by end of Q4
M - evaluate action plan matrix at 1,2,3 client accounts every 15 daysย
A - % audience reached and worked upon in every 1,2,3 client accounts
R - reconsideration to be done for 20% increase? Monitor deal health every 15 days
T - is your quota inline for Q2 and Q4 at 20% improvement is doable in stipulated frame?ย

Personal level, try plugging similar stuff with health as centre

Interesting. I feel like usually, the company sets the K.P.Is. Highkey though if I was asked to set my own K.P.Is I'd set them low and exceed them so I looked like an all-star

I usually base it off my last quarters performance and increase it an incremental amount
