I set time blocks on my calendar. It keeps me accountable. Today, motivation is really low (had the day off yesterday and a long weekend), so it's tough to make dials. But, when I see the block I know I already committed to the time. If I don't use that block, a customer meeting could have been scheduled there and I've now wasted that block.

Also, I just remember that without cold calls I don't make money. Even if the first couple calls suck and are rough, that helps my motivation to keep going. 

I'm also competitive and look at my outreach report vs the other reps. Fuck being last at the end of the week.

That's the SAME boat I am in right now. I had the weekend and Monday off so today I just am feeling so MEH and drained. I had a meeting go long as well so it's just hard to get back to crushing the calls. Hopefully tomorrow I have double the amount of motivation.

Just remember that the prospecting you do today, is what builds the success for next month and next quarter. You skip a week of prospecting now, you might miss a month of quota in the future.

It's no secret cold calls suck. I like money more than I hate making cold calls.

I have to block time, but someone once told me before I start cold calling, ring a friend for a short chat, it helps get you into the rhythm of talking and puts you at ease about having to talk with strangers. 

I've been doing it for years now, it does help.

A little bit of everything above. Just get it out of your system and mentally refocus yourself. Each person is different but I find it helpful to rant for 5 minutes then grab some coffee and get back to grinding.
