How do you thank a client after the deal is signed?

What are some ways you show your appreciation to a client after they've worked hard to get a deal done? Do you have a great "thank you for your business" email? Do you send a gift like a book or bottle of wine? A Cameo? Please share your ideas!

This question is geared towards deals following a longer sales cycle (e.g. Proof of Value, Business Assessment, numerous teams involved). They've put their reputation on the line and worked hard to get this done.

Personally I'd have @paddyΒ hand deliver a 55 gallon drum of tequila and a kilo of cocaine, but for more modest ideas ask @BigMeechΒ

It's true, this goes a long way. But real talk, a simple gift is fine like a bottle of something *cough cough Kahlua*

But don't send a long lover letter sappy thank you note, keep it short and sweet. Best way to thank them ultimately is to make sure they have a good experience using whatever you sold them. In my case this means staying on top of onboarding and CS to make sure they're meeting the customer's demands.

I’ve seen a nice bottle of liquor or a personalized small gift floated in here before actually. But yeah, user experience being top notch is idwal

I've never really done much, maybe a thank you email or something along those lines. Just to keep the relationship good so I can ask for a referral down the line

I send cards on small deals, have engraved Yeti’s I send the client for smallish/medium deals, and send a nice meat or food basket on larger deals. Maine Lobster is also a fun one to send
