How does your company celebrate SDRs/AEs when they schedule a meeting?

My company used to have a bighorn that savages could walk up to and ring when they booked meetings before Covid hit. Now we just post in the general slack channel which is a cool way to get recognition, but I miss celebrating wins as a team in person. Curious how others in here celebrate their savages when they book meetings?

Celebrate a meeting? That’s like getting a participation trophy.

When we close deals we get to pick a song to put on the shared Spotify playlist. When we were in the office it immediately got played, now you have to ping the channel to tell everyone to play it.

I try to keep it fresh--helped a rep close last week and it was a healthcare platform so I chose:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlPHmYtqSdA

We don't celebrate booked meetings, only sales.

We have sales songs, all sales team email gets sent, and write it on the whiteboard. Depending on the size of the deal the team cracks a beer. It's lame right now with covid since we're not allowed to gather together, so now it's just the song/whiteboard and congratulatory email/messages in the team chat.

We used to have a bell for closed deals, and a big TV in the office that would flash the closed deal/arr as well. Don't really do anything remote, and don't do anything for set meetings.

Sales Training & Enablement
Similar here. Had a small gong at one point (like table top) for smaller wins like demo completed with defined next steps that met the qualification framework. We did something where new sales hires (both AE & BDR) out of training would get a bell (like hotel desk bell) after they got their first qualified Opportunity (Sales Manager would review). The idea was to ring the bell every time that you got an Opportunity regardless of how long you've been on the team. On a beautiful day, you'd hear 30 - 50 dings throughout the sales floor. The entire team would clap when they heard it (almost like in a Pavlov response type way). It was a really important motivator, and I think it worked well. Reps could also see metrics continually refreshed on a SFDC Lightning dashboard.

I know that some might feel that there's not a reason to celebrate these wins, but I disagree because motivation is a huge factor especially grinding it out in that kind of role when you're young and trying to get experience. A lot of times this can be the make or break for folks moving up or out of sales.

Large wins (like a closed deal), we had a large floor gong. AEs would ring this when closing a deal, but we started to include upsell from other departments like CS. Occasionally, we'd at least have the BDR up there with them (sometimes play a walk-up song) like in baseball.

We have a slack channel as well in which we celebrate. You could always hold an EOQ awards ceremony as well to celebrate eachothers accomplishments

Celebrate closes my dude.

But there's a win report that's circulated to the team and the slack backpats, EOQ there's more recognition.

Mostly back in the office now but some people still working remote. We have smaller team slack channel where we post we got a meeting and how we got it, and everyone gives you a fun emoji reaction

Do your BDR's do a short demo/discovery call or do the AE's take it right away once booked?
