How have all you sales parents of young children handled the pandemic?

Personally, it's been a struggle. My wife and I both work. I'm in sales and she's in data (business intelligence). We're both on/off calls all day and when we aren't on calls we're both heads down with admin or prospecting (for me). My son is in 2nd grade so he's been fine in school most days (it was a nightmare trying to handle him doing remote school with everything else), but my daughter being only 5 does not understand that mummy and daddy are working all day. And, who could blame or expect her to.

I've enjoyed the time home with them, but there have been levels of stress and frustration I never thought possible in trying to deal with it all.

How have you coped??

Have a 3 year old and wife had a newborn during the pandemic. I’ve become super close to them but man some days I know why some animals eat their young now

My sister-in-law is a Sales Director at a big creative agency, has two daughters (1 and 3), and her husband is an exec at a larger retail company...I will take breaks just to facetime them and get their oldest distracted with funny jokes or games. I feel for y'all.

To the parents out there, how have you balanced your sales career with raising young children, especially during WFH in Covid? Do you feel more productive with WFH or less?
