I usually start just ignore them and their fake "ignorance".ย  However, you quickly realize you are not alone and others within the office/organization have similar sentiments to you. Group chats start to form, people start to talk outside of work, and instead of hating that obnoxious person you kind of enjoy their existence.ย 

That person has created unity within your team and office and you will miss them when they eventually burn out, are unable to cover their footprints or do something so stupid there is no recourse but to fire them.
