Before or after they got fired? Honestly noise cancelling headphones are great. I would always ask one or two tough questions in their QBR as well.ย
I usually start just ignore them and their fake "ignorance".ย However, you quickly realize you are not alone and others within the office/organization have similar sentiments to you. Group chats start to form, people start to talk outside of work, and instead of hating that obnoxious person you kind of enjoy their existence.ย
That person has created unity within your team and office and you will miss them when they eventually burn out, are unable to cover their footprints or do something so stupid there is no recourse but to fire them.

Hahaha this is exactly what happened.... it's sort of a form of entertainment now. It's almost bets to see when they will finally put the nail in their own coffin with something silly.
