How important is it to update sales Metrics to Linkedin while interviewing?

Im back in the job hunt after 4 years of employment with same Org. Iv updated my resume to highlight my key metrics, achievements, promotions of recent company, etc. Despite worthy metrics, Iv never felt the need to reflect on Linkedin. (No hate to those who do)

Do you think its necessary to include these on Linkedin, now that I am interviewing or will the polished resume suffice?

This is the fuckin way. Putting stats on LinkedIn is giving โ€œI work for Gong, please love me daddyโ€

This ALL DAY.

LinkedIn is for networking, not just getting hired. Put accomplishments on there, but don't list stats.

Polished resume would suffice if youโ€™re going to use spray and pray method - applying to all the jobs and seeing how luck plays a part in getting a call back.

Posting all this on LinkedIn creates a demand from the recruiter, which gives you an added advantage. Even though the recruiters that reach out to you on LI will be 75% shitty, 25% will still be meaningful and all you need is 1 job.

I say go all in, try all methods and then decide, whether you like it or not.

I would not have all metrics on LinkedIn because I like to make it more customer facing than recruiter facingโ€ฆ so if you are looking for a job I would probs put them there

yeah i wouldnt put stats on Linked in. i dont have any issue with putting the years you hit pres club or something. but like % to quota, or number of deals closed, or avg deal size yeah id keep it for the resume.

I have highlights on my LI, which I update to align with my resume once Iโ€™m in an interview cycle. But less is more on LI.

I donโ€™t keep them on LinkedIn as well. Everything on the updated resume.

I donโ€™t put anything on LI except where I worked, when I worked there, and the title.

Nope. That's what your resume is for.

Rejected by recruiter for SDR position before any interview, despite having referral and track record. My inner-salesman is telling me to ignore the rejection and start reaching out to Sales Managers directly.
