How is selling for Okta?

I just accepted an offer for an AE role at Okta on their emerging markets team. Can anyone here who works or has worked at Okta tell me about how the emerging markets team differs from other teams and/or just speak to the general culture of the sales organization?Β

I can't speak for the emerging team but I recently (within past 60 days) interviewed and declined offer from Okta on their strategic team. A few thoughts:

1) Great tech and great product vision. They want to go toe to toe with MSFT.

2) Great comp both in terms of OTE and equity.

3) The culture is changing rapidly. They've had a lot of turnover at the senior level which is driving away lots of tenured people. Lots of things seem in flux.

4) Hiring like crazy. I get the impression they have a flood the zone strategy which could result in rapidly shrinking territories. Fwiw I was offered a position with 6-8 accounts and a $2.5M quota.

I love posts like this with good inside intel. I almost feel like an idiot for not knowing about a lot of the companies that have been brought up in here, but I like learning about them.
