How long should a SaaS product demo/discovery call be? Considering it is not a very technical product.

Demo, I would say 30 mins or less. But sometimes you're demoing a "talker" so I usually block out an hour buffer on my calendar. I hate back to back demos. Discovery should be short, 10-15 mins in my opinion. Discovery will make the demo a lot shorter and cleaner.Β

It 100% depends on your product, the use case, and the audience. For a first time demo, I can spend an hour just on one use case with our product.Β 

To fully flush out a use case and fully qualify our product, it takes me an average of 6-7 hours of discovery total over a few calls.Β

45 minutes. Gives you some to establish rapport and actually get into their use cases.

30-45 mins as per me. Works good with last 10 mins for questions.Β

Well discovery and demo are 2 different things. I would say 10-15 mins for each of them. Thta's how long my demo and discovery lasts along with a few mins of QnA at the end

An hour seems to be typical if it's very technical. Better to have more time and not use it than less time and be in need of more

45 minute meeting, that way it doesn't take up a full hour on their calendar and should give you buffer for 20-30 minutes of content. It always feels better to end a meeting shorter compared to having it run over time.Β

30-60 minutes as long as you can get everything accomplished in that timeframe. Nothing worse than a long demo!
