How many accounts are you working per month in midmarket/enterprise as an outbound SDR in SaaS?

Right now, the accounts I tackle are 200+ in size (yeah, account distribution could be way more targeted) with the ideal size being anywhere between 500 and 5000 employees. That said, I've got your Series B/C funded companies all the way up to your Fortune 500s/publically traded companies (which I know requires a different strategy, but have no idea how to consistently tackle btw)

When working this segment aka midmarket/enterprise ish, how many accounts do you work through per month?

Asking because I'm not sure if I desperately need an account refresh, or if I'm just ass and am burning through my accounts (which would be fair if it's the latter).

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
The one who reports to my team is churning through a few hundred a month at the moment. But we give her license to do that as we're a small sales team with a huge TAM.

Account size matters. You could honestly spend an entire month on one Fortune 500 account if you're going to every division. I'd say 30-40 for example, is totally realistic for you to be going through in 4-6 weeks though based on the info you supplied here.

By the end of the 4-6 weeks, what’s the expected result for her? For example, what are the conditions to stop working an account? I’ve been told to resequence accounts if they haven’t engaged within the quarter, and by engaged, i mean responded to an email or had a conversation. To me, it doesn’t make sense especially if they’ve opened some emails but it could just be a limiting belief. I’ve had the same 250 accounts for about a quarter and a half now, a fair chunk of which don’t fit ICP, while the ones that do have either been converted, DQ’d, set for nurture or could be resequenced.

A rolling 30-40 accounts. Our model is you have to service the first five transactions on the account before CSM takes over. So managing 30-40 new accounts plus the deals you've landed keeps you busy.

I guess it also depends on your deal velocity. Our deals typically take 2-3 months to close.

Personally just setting meetings so not actually managing the rest of the cycle but deal velocity is about the same on our end. At 30-40 accounts, I’m assuming you’re reaching out to 5-15 contacts per account on a monthly basis?

About 200-250. Not everyone responds.

Wait hold on. One account, 200-250 contacts? Or did you mean 200-250 contacts reached out to per month?

250 prospects per month lead to about 30-40 accounts being worked as sql’s

Ah wait this makes more sense. For a second I thought you meant on a single account, so you’d just go through 200 x 30 leads per month 😂 good we cleared that up LOL
