How many AEs out there are still making cold calls to drum up business?

Curious to see how many AEs are doing their prospecting/cold calling for net new business vs relying on other teams. My current spot strongly encourages AEs to work their territory but also have a 1:1 SDR relationship so they get a lot of leads from SDR.

I'm full cycle, so I'm responsible for every part of the sales process. It can get old at times, especially when you're behind on setting meetings for yourself, and you have really pound the phones, but having the continued experience of working the entire pipeline has definitely been beneficial. 

Even as I transition into more of a "closing only role", I like to keep those cold calling skills sharp!

each bdr here supports about 4 reps~ so you're coverage on your patch is quite low.

I cold call a few times a week if that...it is discouraged where I work for the most part as we have too many inbound/existing customer upsell opportunities to waste time on it.
