How many emails do you send before giving up (enterprise)

In an enterprise setting, for one individual contact, how many emails do you send before giving up?

give me an idea of your sequence for prospects that cold calling does not really work for

Not too experienced here but Id say 7 emails and 7 calls with no opens or pickups is no shot.

Go where you provide value.

If you cant communicate value over 7 touches you’re either

A- not providing value
B- have bad copy
C- are irrelevant to that person

And should readjust and or move across or up and down the line

Managers, assistants, directors
Or different segments of the business

Nothing harder than the pill swallow of point A. Very easy to blame others, but a lot of time, a lack of engagement from a legitimate contact means that you aren't providing value to that person

To be clear, are you saying 7 in a row on one thread?

Honestly I think at the point of like 3 messages in a row it starts to sound desperate when I’m on the other side.

No not a thread maybe three threaded emails individually because if they dont buy in one aspect the may buy in the other five

I'll stop after 7 if they arent engaged (you can see who opens emails on salesloft for example), but if they are I keep at it till around 15-20 touches

I am seeing the average now is 18 touches for a response. And thats the average. I would move on after 20 total touches.

Frankly, I would NEVER STOP SENDING EMAILS until they engage. That'll teach 'em.

I do

1 cold email
1 follow up email
1 call
1 final email

But from what I’m seeing I think I’m giving up too early Lmao

Never give up. I'm sweet talking the Hospice front desk attendant to get her to put my call through to Room 208 as we speak.

8-10 touches before putting them in a slow drip sequence for 6 months and then re trying

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
