Not talking about how many hours you're at work...

I love the anonymity of the war room where I can respond to a VP and follow up over a Director of Sales, spending 12-14 hours a day, just to say that as an AE I'm way more efficient at home and spend most of my day preparing lunch, exercising and playing video games. Maybe 4 hours of work per day TBH

I have worked a lot more since lockdown started and it has been WFH. I'd say on average it's about 12-14 hours a day.

Lots of internal meetings make up my day though.

For me there is an ebb and flow to it. There are weeks that I might do 4 hours of actual work and then weeks that it might be 60-70 hours of head down working. I think it balances out. I will say when I was an AE it might have been 10 hrs a week and that was enough to win club just about every year.

Depends on what's going on. I feel like in the last month of the quarter, for example, I'm working 10-12 hours a day, every day, but spread out across the day (3 hours here, 2 hours here, tc). During normal times, I'd say 6-9 hours a day.

When I was just starting as CRO, I was probably putting in 70+ hour weeks. I’m an early riser so would usually begin my day around 5. It’s toned down a bit as we’ve grown and my team is bigger. But now my days are so full of internal meetings, in having to do work outside of 8-5pm. I’ve always been a long hours guy though, even when I was an IC, I also never had a year selling under 150% of my targets. Work balances me, I need the puzzle, I need something to keep my mind sharp.

Same on the 4-5 hour branch. Don't get me wrong, I've banked 100 hour weeks trying to close a few deals over the years. But normally, it's a pretty good existence.

I work remote and tend to see very busy weeks/months and then get a small reprieve where I intentionally work less hours to kind of mentally re-set and work to avoid long term burnout. During my busy season? EASILY 16-18 hours/day M-F plus 8-9 hours on the weekend so.. say, 90-100 hours? During my unofficial reset weeks where I'm doing some cleanup and compiling new zoom info lists and building cadences for the next couple of months? I shoot for no more than 35 hours in that week or weeks.
