How many nomads here?

It’s key since I don’t live near family so I can go out for a week and don’t use PTO and save it for vacations

I have a kid in school, so I can only nomad so much. I will work from wherever hotel we are at for his hockey travel, but it’s usually not places I’d go for vacation on purpose however.

Honestly sounds kinda great (except for not going out - you're in the country side go out get your nature in!). Our jobs provide a lot of interpersonal engagement and Bravado is a strong community from what I've seen. If you like solitude and you get your relationship/community fix independent from physical location (within reason) then power to you Mr. Turtle

I get out quarterly, which is just often enough for me. Usually mix in a few trade shows, but I enjoy staying domestic. Going international can be rough with all the time changes

I put all of my stuff in storage and just travel around while working remotely. I stay in hotels, airbnbs, and with family. I pay less in rent than I used to pay. Travel in the evenings or a longer trip on the weekend.

Heck yeah. I save money as long as I stay with friends or family, or when I travel outside the country, too.
