I believe it's important to fail early, fail until you succeed.

I have tried 4 times, started from 0 with a new idea.

I'm still pushing through with my current startup with the knowledge of 3 failed attempts

I think this is somewhat of a cultural difference.

In the US starting a firm, giving it your best shot and failing is something you can be proud of. In the EU people are ashamed of having done that.

That’s a good point, in Honduras (Central America) no one is used to starting their own business, the cultural isn’t their and 8/10 don’t survive the first 2 years. Only 1/10 survive the first 5 years.

Never done it myself, but just left one that is pretty much dead now.

I wouldn't join a seed level start-up again, unless it was at VP/Exec level. Most founders don't know WTF they are doing outside of product and if they hire a friend to run commercial, it rarely ends well.

I see where you are coming from, startups have a higher risk than Huge corporations, mainly because the my might not be there tomorrow. However I’d entourage anyone to start their own if they have an idea they truly believe in, even if they don’t succeed (I haven’t 3 times now) you’ll learn so much and grow incredibly as a profesional!
