I have been ghosted right after getting a verbal from a CFO, I assume every deal I can get ghosted if I dont set next steps
Heck, they'll ghost you then too, if the project is delayed for some reason.

It happens. As revenge you should hire a teen in a foreign country to hack the buyers computer and get them fired. Pretty tough to track that.
I think this sentencing is too light.
It happens and I think it's more of a reflection of the buyer than the seller. Regardless, it's incredibly frustrating to not even get the courtesy of being told no.

back when i sold much smaller deals, i once had a guy “pretend” to be fetching his credit card on the phone & then go silent. happened twice, same guy.
It happens more often than I'd like, but it's not common by any means. 1 time is too many.
Very common in advertising. I was negotiating payment terms on one and then crickets
ad sales here too, i never ever count my eggs before they hatch as this happens way too often.
