How often do you legitimately smile and dial?

Most of us has had a job banging on the phones to start out our sales career. We have all been told to smile and dial because the prospect can hear it through the phone. But I want to know how many of you still smile and dial on a daily basis?

honestly....it makes a difference. Its one of the things I dont like about my team all being remote. I cant see their faces, make them smile and bring positive energy.ย

in my opinion- focus on smiling, focus on being positive- just be aware to not be sing/songy. That can happen

Smiling isn't the trick, I've found. If you lift your head and put your shoulders back it releasesย serotonin (Jordon Peterson, could be bro science?) Anyway, I've found that it lifts my mood to professional as opposed to sales person.

When a lead answers the phone for the first time in history only to scream at me to stop calling my first reaction is to laugh really loud. I don't even think about it.
