How should I use my time today and tomorrow?

I've been told by my manager to not prospect or call cuz of the holidays and long weekend. I'd still like to be productive and get an early start on my Q3 pipeline.

Any advice on the best way to use my time?

This might be your manager's way of gently forcing you to take some mental health time ๐Ÿ˜‰

While that would be a nice thought, it's unlikely. The startup I'm at is full speed ahead and any downtime is supposed to about learning to produce more.ย

Absolutely take some time to unwind. Go for a hike, watch TV, cook something. Relax!

If your manager says it. Take some time.ย

If you really want to be productive: prospect, write mails and schedule them, search phone numbers, do some admin stuff,โ€ฆ

Generate new leads so that when you get back on the phones/email you got a lot lined up. Take time to research your top accounts and create some very tailored messaging.ย

That's absurd. What happens if you don't follow what you were told?

Idk. He basically meant no cold outreach, should remove "prospect" from what I said earlier. Either way, just looking for ways to produce for Q3 to get ahead of the game.ย

I mean it makes sense for Canada, but the US is still in full swing today and likely tomorrow as well. Monday will be slower in the US than tomorrow I would imagine.ย

I would spend your time prospecting then if that's allowed. Find some real juicy prospects, study them and have a great outreach plan to execute next week. You could also use this time to boost your sales skills, work on writing, things like that.ย

I agree with going into the office occasionally and if itโ€™s beneficial to learn and while you are starting to sponge from the other people that are successful at the company, however if you are a contributor and are hitting your goals then I donโ€™t see a problem with WFH or a hybrid option.
