How the heck do I use Hubspot

I have a static list of leads to call. The list includes a few contact owners.

How do I:

  1. Get this list to show only my leads?
  2. Organize this list by most recently called by me?

GeneralCorp always goes on about how marketing sucks, and now I really understand because only a marketer with no clue of how sales works could create a CRM that makes everything take 10x longer to make calls.

Hey there--sounds like you have a shitty sales leadership/enablement team.

Go to "Contacts"->More Filters->Search List Membership->Filter by the name of the list->Contact Owner = 'Me'

From there: you can add the column for "last contacted" and save the view by whatever unique name your little heart desires.

I hope the solution mentioned by @poweredbycaffeine  works. HS is quite easy, one additional part - try doing free course on HS in the academy section, they are quite good for the ones new to hubspot.

Ngl their other videos are good too. Inbound methodology was 🤌 especially coming from high-volume insurance outreach

Your answer is here but if you have a sales op, I would ask him about this as well. Hubspot is loved by marketing team as it's pretty and a monkey could use the marketing functions but once you step out of that into workflows, sequences, deals.... ooph.

Hello! Work on the burger filter (three bars) and you can filter via 'me' and  then also, additionally 'last contacted'.

You can also go via company to make it easier if contacts are too overwhelming. That's in the top left hand corner. Hubspot user for 3 years so any questions do ask :)

HubSpot have quite a good academy where you can 'learn' all this- and the support team is helpful.

Does someone have a list you can clone and change the owner/parameters to what you need?

Oh boy
Was using outreach, then switched to hubspot. The number of extra manual workflows were staggering to me. The thing I miss the most is Outreach's "tagging" function. Made it so incredibly easy to sort through contacts.

My advice to you, if you can do it, is make active lists. They update based on specific fields. This way, you can create a list that only filters "contacts owned by me" and will actively update based on what management assigns to/away from you.

As to "most recently called by me"....I have yet to figure that one out. There's a "last contacted date" field that you can sort by, which I use when setting up my sequences.

Sounds like you are using "lists" which are designed for Marketing 1:many email sends, reporting, and automation.

Recommend switching to working from views:  under contacts menu bar > dropdown > contacts > then "create filter".

Those views work the same way, you can save them and they update in real time, but they are made for quick 1:1 communication and provide a lot more data in the column structure.

HubSpot was created by a SalesPerson, you're just using it wrong.

Contacts > "More Filters" > Contact owner is any of: "me" - that brings up just your contacts.  You can create a column that has "last activity date" and sort that way, or create another filter to include or omit contacts that have been contact in a certain time period.

Like other people are saying, create a list that is filtered for you and "last contacted". Then, take the people in that list who you want to call, create a task queue called "call" (or whatever you want), assign everyone in the list a call task and assign it to that queue. Then, go to the queue, hit "start tasks" and it will take you through every individual task with the phone number pulled up ready to dial. I fucking love HubSpot!

There is an entire knowledge base HubSpot put together that literally walks through everything. I hate to be that person but this seems like a "google it bruh" type scenario.
