How to Handle a Bad Coworker

I'm on a small sales team and I've been dealing with a coworker of that team that has been overly involved with my work flow. They give me unsolicited advice on nearly every aspect of my sales process, from cold calling to Outreach task management.

I know that there is always going to be at least one bad nut on a sales team (maybe it's you... or me...) and I understand that nothing shuts up a nosey coworker than crushing quota and getting. that. money. But it's starting to affect my attitude which I think is a negative.

Anyone have any tips OR stories of their own rough coworker stories?

Had an AE that treated me the same way in my first SDR job. After months of micro management, I decided the only way around this was to book him so many meetings that he wouldn't have time for lectures. Moral of the story: Nobody can say shit about your approach if you're winning. You got this!

Unfortunately, you can't control how others act. But, you can control your own actions. Keep your head down, keep plugging away and let your numbers speak. Soon enough they will stop telling you what to do and start asking for your advice.
