How to re-engage a stalled opportunity without pissing them off?

Would love to hear best practices on how you all re-engage folks that have gone ghost. My team will continue to pester until we get a response (by pester, we send them free shit hoping they eventually say "so sorry I haven't got back to you, we're out!"

Balancing the science with the art. The science is the actions, the art is how it is delivered.

I have always tried to keep it to the facts. What happened, what we know, what we want as an outcome.

A mixture of offering swag along with recapping what you know about past interactions, start to quantify a bit and create an assumptive business case.

Base off of what we discussed, what your business does, what you do for the business, I have to assume this impact (think the cost of inaction). How can you turn the headache/pain into something that is tangible, typically a dollar sign.

Corp's breakup email is great. Sometimes it's as simple as just saying "It seems that there are other projects that have taken priority over XYZ - when would be a good time for us to follow-up?"

I agree that often short and to the point is the best way about it.  I often struggle to figure out how many times do you send it before just letting them go.

A long email that typically ends with "would appreciate the professional courtesy of an update" or you can "mistakenly" email your team telling them to close out the account to lost while copying in the client

I like the "mistake" play.  We've done things like "we're going to go ahead and close your file for now."

You've built rapport, took them through your value proposition, scheduled follow-ups, everything feels great. Now it's decision time and.... GHOSTED... How do you recapture their attention and when is it time to hit them with a break-up email?

AE’s - here’s a very client-centred way to gather information about ‘WHEN’ a decision needs to be made. Doing it this way will help you shorten sales cycles and build trust. Keep in mind - not every question I ask in this example is a perfect fit for every buyer, but should give you a good place
