Yeah this is always a tough one, we do it with leadlander, intent, hubspot, email tracking and cant call and say i know you were on the website last night and looked at my email 4 minutes and 17 seconds ago.......

I usually call around 5 people in that company and ask about their upcoming digital projects this year see if we can help them in any way. the more people you contact the likelier you are to get some intel or land that coveted DM and meeting.ย

Which intent data source do you use?ย  Have you used multiple and find one to be more effective than others?

We use aberdeen for intent and it is horrible. Bombora is great but expensive and more ABM related. A classic standard and super economical i had tons of success with is Leadlander, i even paid out of pocket at a startup for it cause it helped that much and couldnt get approved.ย

You gotta tread carefully here. I've learned that most of the time when I get notifications about companies checking out my company, they're prospecting my company lol

First and foremost, you need to lead with a level of personalization that will get your email opened.ย  80% of emails sent don't even get a read, and we as sellers sit around stressing about messaging, when its not even being reviewed.ย  Your subject line has to stand out through the noise, and speak directly to the person you are prospecting into.ย  Put down the automation, and focus on personalization at scale.ย  ย Assume you are doing this already, and getting the open -- your messaging should be candid and direct.ย  "Our sales org is very tech driven, and we use X software to understand who's consuming our site and at what volumes, I've been alerted to some regular interest from your company.ย  While I know you may be earlier in your buying research, I'd like to jump on a call and potentially accelerate your knowledge of our (product)"ย  -- when all else fails - just be honest and it will pay off in the long run.ย

When you have your LinkedIn account set to "open to work" and recruiters reach out all the time do you take the mindset of "I need to sell myself for this role" OR "The recruiter needs to sell the role to myself?"
