How would you spend $1500

This has probably already been talked about but I dont feel like searching the forum right now so @funcoupons I apologize.

But my company gives me $1500 a year to spend on education and training. My VP wants an idea of how I plan to spend mine before my 1-1 w/ her next week. So... what should I spend it on?

There are so many great (and free) resources for sales development and training that I can’t see the value of spending $1500 on any of it.

Ya this was my initial thought as well. Only issue is that I like my VP a lot and I know shes going to FU on it.

I also spend a lot of time backcountry skiing and was thinking of taking some avy rescue and safety courses would be good and my spin is that im more valuable to our company alive than dead so I can justify it.

Although a scheme to get the 1500 for myself would be attractive, theres several companies that offer great sales conferences, not the tony robbins type but an example would be TOPO group.

I would attend workshops/conferences. I have had the greatest time at conferences before. A lot of them are out of the city and you could possibly be allowed to use the 1500 towards hotel and food as well. So its a vacation but your there to learn.
