The problem the company is going to run into is they will hire some new blood, hoping that solves the problem, but they will run into the same issues coupled with the learning curve and training issues of newbies.

Yeah, they already hired 3 people in the last few months. They're backed by Morgan Stanley so these finance cunts use spreadsheets to map quota.

5% as a team is hilariously indicative of poor leadership not a poor team… I’d count my blessings that you got let go at a time when you can point to why the performance was low and not question yourself as to the “how can I be better” of it all. Sounds like you’ll be in a better position almost no matter what the next role is!

It's one thing if a few people aren't hitting quota. But if no one is hitting quota... it's a product or leadership expectations.

Sorry! I just went through this last week on Wednesday. Take time to yourself and keep slowly interviewing. Mental power of just going through it is key here. Don’t hold to your emotions but don’t just let them pass. Introspective is another key. 2.5 years, manager, promoted 3 times and all that jazz. Just keep your head up and onto the next one like you and so many folks echoed. Just stay grounded. Market is nuts.

Sorry to hear dude, suggestion, forget applying to the listed job ads where you drown in competition. Rather, send proactive career enquiry emails attaching a video of yourself, CV and cover message to company’s you want to join. Along the lines of ‘do you want to expand your client base? I want to join you to do this’ blah blah blah

5% of what number? Was that number realistic? Even if it wasn't realistic, 5% is pretty low.
5% of team goal for Q4. 5% is abysmal...

That is ridiculous... Bet your next role will put that one to shame. I also recently got let go after just 2.5 months, hadn't even ramped to $1 of my enterprise quota yet haha.
