I have a whisky decanter in my home office…nice touch or problem?

I think too many years of watching Mad Men caused this. I’m not drinking all day or anything like that, but sometimes it is nice to have the option to pour a dram and enjoy it while on a non video call or meeting

It wasn't that long ago we all had that. In the office I currently work they have booze there. It depends on whether your an alcoholic. If you can do your job without alcohol getting in the way, I'd say you're fine.

In the late 2000s, when I was still thinking about going to law school, I worked as a runner for a law firm and the attorneys used to keep bottles under the desk (somewhat hidden). 

I remember one partner in a corner office letting me sip a bit of Wild Turkey on my last Friday before heading back to a new semester at school. My dad worked for the same firm, promised not to tell him that he gave me some whiskey, and told me some hilarious shit about my dad that I never knew.
