I have a ZERO for April Sales, what can I possibly do to save the month? #panicmode

I had a great March, but April has been very hard to get any traction on any accounts. Copier's are not any business's slightest priority. The stress of being scolded by my boss and the company president is taking a toll on me. Is there anything I can do to save face?

The first thing you have to do is whatever it takes to not let the stress and anxiety to make a sale anywhere near your prospects - they can sense when you NEED the sale and it'll drive them away quick fast and in a hurry.

I'd suggest doing some follow up with the sales from last month and other customers, asking for referrals, and just continuing to grind!

Can you put some more details down? Length of avg cycle, avg sales/month, how are other's doing this month, how did other's do last month, etc.

Detach. Worst case scenario you get fired. You’ll find another job. Maybe a better one.

Best case: you stumble into a call in a good mood and close a huge account in the last week.

What’s more likely: you grind out the last week, close a few deals and set up a huge May.

Things fluctuate. You’ll be okay my friend.

Did any of your habits or activities change from March to April? Why do you think March was so strong despite the pandemic?

Without knowing your sales cycle or conversion rate it's it's hard to be prescriptive. But def don't stress over what you can't control and do put in work for what you can. With my limited understanding of your business, I'd say focus on building  pipeline for next month and digging into what was behind the March magic so you can have big wins in April and May. Good luck!
