I have applied to 10+ jobs and yet to hear from any and wondering what are peoples thoughts

I have recently started looking for a new job and have applied to several jobs. It has been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive anything including a rejection email.

What do you think the cause is?

I said # 1 because it's likely true, but also 10 jobs in 2 weeks is 1 per day.

Do you make one prospecting call a day? Send one cold email?

Idk about other companies, but August was one of our biggest vacation months as people take one last trip before summer ends. So, it could just be that they don't want to start the interview process & then leave for vacation for the week. Fingers crossed you hear back soon!

Sometimes it take awhile, I would go to all LI recruiter messages and look there. There has to be 1-2 that are actually good companies

Noticed a large delay with recent job searches. One company took more than a month to get back to me for a first interview. Punchy CV makes a massive difference though

Are you only submitting applications? Or are you also calling the hiring managers?

Have you tried using Betts recruiting? Usually a recruiter can help you out!

It took me 6 months to get into SAAS, even with a strong background. Recruiting is painfully strict

So, most people I know did not plan on becoming a sales person initially, it just happened. So, curious to know how my fellow warriors here ended up in sales anyway ? The more interesting stories the better..!!
