I hear how LinkedIn has taken over B2B sales within recent years but I'm still an avid believer in multiple channels. What channel have you found to be most effective in the B2B space? and Why?

It was so much easier pre-Covid for face to face interaction. Southern clients EXPECT to see you. I am struggling a little with this now.

LinkedIn is like any other social media platform: an echo chamber that you fill up with like-minded people, while blocking/removing any unwanted counter-opinions. It's 98% trash, 2% worthwhile content.

Nothing will ever take over the phone and in-person sales.

Cold calling yo!! Also as of late, I've upped my email game by dedicating some time to it!  No meetings booked yet but I'm actually getting replies now, hahaha

Indirect agents/brokers are huge, they receive a cut of the revenue but the amount of opportunities and sales that close equals out to the lost revenue/commission to the agent/broker. In person networking is by far the best, and having someone recommend you is the highest close ratio in my book.

I'll echo what every one else has mentioned; Cold calling and face to face. However, It all depends on your audience/potential customer base. If the people you sell to are highly focused in different associations, then that is where you need to focus some of your time.

Phone. Do what everyone else isn't doing....the Phone. You will stand out. I resort to email if they don't answer but phone is king. I never pitch or sell over Linkedin. I just connect and only msg people I have spoken with on other channels.  Plus - if you are phone centric you.will.never.appear.spammy. :)

Outside of face to face as someone else mentioned which is the best route..... there is:
Cold Calling (not dead)
Emailing
LinkedIn (make it personalized)
Sales Navigator can be very useful. I've had great results.

Multi-Channel ICP/Persona targeted campaigns with relevance over personalisation - with the phone as the lead. All powered by hand-cranked and verified phone, email and social data. BOOM
