Felt so good to sit in the same room with the C-suite. Got to answer their questions face to face, go down rabbit holes, connect with them on a personal level over lunch, and ultimately moved the deal forward much faster than I would have been able to virtually. Honestly the demo itself had some issues (poor wifi at their site) but even through all the lag time, we accomplished so much. Was I able to take 10 calls today with 10 different prospects/customers? No. But this one 4 hour block I spent with real decision makers who had to devote their time and attention to me and my team accomplished about as much as several individual virtual calls I would have had to coordinate with them. Felt good to be back. Now i'm addicted to the road again!
