I'm going to ram my prospect's car today

I have a prospect who ghosted me for a meeting. I've sent some emails, made some calls, and even delivered a fake bomb to his house with a message saying "call this number or I'll detonate", all to no avail.

After the FBI showed up at my door, I figured I should try something a little less radical. So here's my idea that anyone should heed when you can't get a prospect's attention:

Why not “accidentally” ding their car in the parking lot and leave a note?

A few things to keep in mind: Make sure to get their license plate number. Wouldn’t want any mishaps in the parking lot. Also, make sure the damage is minimal. This is a legitimate business expense that any manager should absolutely approve of.

Have you considered the romantic approach? Just burn your name and contact info into their front lawn and throw pebbles at their window while holding a boom box blasting "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. All of my romantic interests have loved it - they even called the cops to tell them about how sweet it was. <3

This was great after the dot com boom but I've found that sales people have burned (see what I did) this one into the ground the last 15 years or so.

I do see what you did there. You raise a good point. I guess I can endorse your plan, better than having the feds lock you up. I want to spend our honeymoon on an island, but Rikers is not what I have in mind.

Not the way I thought this post would go. Why don't you just kidnap the wife, he'll have to buy your product if he wants her back and you don’t have to pay expenses.

Too much effort, I've tried it before and the guy's wife just started nagging "blah blah blah I can't breathe in this trunk blah blah blah this duct tape isn't designer duct tape blah blah blah." It was mentally draining so I just returned her.

This cost should be worked into every budget/P&L. That's what "Miscellaneous Expense" is for. Finance can go back to bean counting and shut it if they ask any questions.

Exactly. And they don't provide detailed receipts, Janette from accounts payable. So let me go back to bringing in customers who pay your salary. Sound good? K thanks

This is exactly the type of prospecting I would expect from paddy. Incredibly abrasive, but will always get your attention. Only one way to find out if it works

Give it a go. Worst case, nothing happens and they don't call you back, which is what you're used to as a sales rep.

You are telling me ramming cars into people's property is a sales strategy now? Damn, and I've been doing it for free all this time. Saw no commish from all those contacts.

I mean why even stop at hitting the car! Why not throw a ball through the front window of their house. Just go for it at that point
