I quit the best paying job I've ever had yesterday

Yesterday I quit one of the best paying jobs Ive ever had to chase my dreams, quitting selling for other and starting selling for myself

First I told my CEO a week before all the reasons I wanna quit in a brutally honest long email, it boiled down to having a rude, insensitive, & incompetent manager.

we had a good talk and he said we are all good and he will fix it, monday comes around & nothing changes w my manager & instead he flips it on me, i tell my manager the next day

’hi name, im sorry for your loss..’

manager highly confused* ‘?’

’its me, im the loss. Im putting in my two week notice today.’

no response. ( yeah i know you’re supposed to quit face to face but our company literally has never used video, and ive never seen my managers face, and tbh he didn’t deserve my energy)

feels great to quit I gotta say, definetly made the right move for myself, things are going to open up for me now in my own life with everything I focus on and I can’t wait to dive in full force

ill keep yall updated on when exciting things start happening 😊 🐬

I have a new partner already who has 30 yrs experience in the industry and we get along great, he wants to help me and join me any way he can 💯

anyways thats all ✌️

I put my two weeks in last week due to poor management making it impossible to work there anymore, so I feel you. Best of luck with the (now primary) side hustle! Sending you all the good sales juju, you are going to crush it.

Once you start closing some funding/making sales please post in the WW so we can all celebrate :)

Sending you the good vibes as well!

Seems like they lost a beast, I've quit due to poor management as well, it sucks, but we have to do what's best for us!

Also put in my notice a couple weeks ago.

I've quit jobs in the past, once because of shitty leadership and once for a better opportunity. One time, me quitting got a friend / co-worker of mine a raise! He ended up quitting a few months later too...

Woah - I'm stuck on the part where you said you never see your managers face as no one does video. I couldn't imagine never using video in my 1:1 with my manager - that's wild to me!

Sounds like you made the right decision! Congratulations for putting in your notice (in a boss way I might add!).

I applaud this! It's hard to quit, the uncertainty can get to you, but it the jobs wasn't for you anymore, and you have a side Hussle that can become your main income, and it's your own thing, that's awesome!!

Keep us posted! It's definitely their loss, I'm sure they will miss you while you keep kicking it on your own project!

I’ve been at will so many times that I don’t count it as quitting. I say my work there is done lol
