No. I turned it off, prospects not under NDA did not like being recorded. I can only really see it being helpful for a new AE learning how to run calls.

Lots of threads on Gong, I would look at these:

I've never used it. I can tell you I don't like the idea of being recorded, and I bet a lot of my clients would feel that way as well.

I like it. But it does have an interesting impact on a sales org. The truly good reps like it because people get to see why they’re so good, but bad reps get exposed. Overall good for the company but it could mean a lot of reps get exposed if they’re weak. And the NDA stuff BigMeech says. Enterprise for sure runs into that, and certain verticals.

I find it very useful. Being able to go back and search customer calls for stuff I missed in my notes is nice(especially when you are months after the fact and you forgot everything you were talking about....lol) I didnt like it at first cause I felt weird hearing my voice but over time I have learned what a valuable tool it is. The transcriptions are not always perfect though but overall it has made me a much more efficient sales rep.

Ive used it, its okay. Use salesloft recordings now- same shit. Lots of customers dont like it and its mostly useful for new reps, they can achieve the same thing shadowing a call.

If you ask people who work there, improving sales efficiencies 3-7% is the highest calling anyone single person can have.

Sarcasm aside, I've used a competitor and call coaching is really powerful and useful

Yeah I think Most decent CRMs have decent call recordings. I’m also at a small company with limited training so they aren’t down our throats on coaching or call quality

I see the benefit of recording calls but I prefer not to.

No, but we used to make about $100 for a meeting.
