Hey thanks for the response - this is a general question really. What I'm thinking of is to learn if there are common skills VP of Sales has? Then perhaps I can work on focusing on those skills. What do you think?

what size company? in larger orgs a VP is still a middle manager.
I've seen:
-driving change and broader initiatives
-having/implementing a playbook (for external hires into a small company/startup especially)
-hiring/onboarding
-aligning with other lines of business
-communicating one-to-many
